Depending on what you're readin' or who you're listenin' to, copywriters are either a dime a dozen or there just ain't enough of 'em to go around. Thing is, both are true, to some degree. There're a lot of people writin' copy, but they're at varying levels of skill sets and differing degrees of ability, English-wise.
The latter is where I come in, at least as far as this particular site's concerned. This is not my copywriting site, this is my 'allow me to help you edit your copy' site.
People that speak English as their mother tongue struggle with the language; how much more those that came to English as a second or third language? And yet, I see 'em out there all the time, seeking to write copy in English (after all, that's what the majority of the Internet uses) and just makin' a total hash of it. And who could blame 'em, when you've got words like cough, tough, through, and though, which all have the same ending and share most of the same letters, yet each one's pronounced differently from any of the others? Rhyme stove, move, and love.
My fees are reasonable, I ran in the 97th percentile in English Usage and Vocabulary Skills on the SATs (before they were 'dumbed-down' twice), and I grew up playing with the glue in the gluepot (actually, it was a brown jar) that used to be needed to put ads together for newspapers. The proof, of course, is always in the pudding, but the ingredients make all the difference in the world.
You need help with your copy: I can do that.
